(Aug 08 - elephants perform and the Munson Family Circus.)
Wow, it's been almost a month since I posted. What's been going on? One week vacation up north, Reed & I started teaching Sunday school, Iowa Feis, dance classes, we started school, Liz visiting from California, dance performance, Bible study started, piano lessons started....I guess that's it! :)
Sonja goes to the orthodontist tomorrow. He's just been keeping an eye on things for about a year. No treatments yet. But she's lost a lot of teeth since the last visit 6 mos ago. We'll see what happens!
The Minnesota Feis is coming up on Sept 27. It's a free event if anyone is interested in coming to watch. It's at the RiverCenter in St Paul, starts at 9am. We're really hoping Sonja will place in her hornpipe so she will qualify for the Mid-America regionals called Oireachtas - a nice Irish word, pronounced 'oh-rock-tus.' Selena would also like a first in her hornpipe so she can move up to the next level in that dance next year.
We're getting into the swing of things for our school year pretty well. Sonja is using a new Math program called 'Teaching Textbooks' and really likes it! A definite answer to prayer!!
Our church is going to host a marriage seminar this fall starting in October. We're looking forward to that. It'll be a 5 week program. Anyone interested? Only $10! and childcare provided. It's called '10 Great dates to energize your marriage.'
It's a beautiful day today. Enjoy it!
This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Ps 118:4
