We're gearing up for our big family vacation to Columbus, Ohio. The Irish dance event that Sonja and Selena will be competing in is called the Midwest Oireachtas (oh-rock-tus). Another fun Irish word. :) Anyway, it's a huge honor and achievement for them to be able to compete at this event. Especially since they've only been competing for one year! They have been working very hard. Lots of practice. And it shows!
The event is Fri, Sat and Sun Nov 28-30. The competition starts at 8am each day. S&S's age groups dance on Sunday. There are about 20 'corda mor' dancers going.
So far it looks like the weather is going to be great for traveling! We're keeping that in our prayers. And also that we'll all stay healthy. We're all pretty excited. Now, to get packed!!!
